Interested to know what other people think. They were originally out way before I was born. But some of you may be old enough to know of them? biggrin.gif

Here's one of their songs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VpMyyQRT4Sk Hope I can post that there, it is on topic...

Well, I'm old enough to remember them first time round (and to own Cool For Cats on pink 7" vinyl! icecream.gif ).

Very good singles band - never really bothered with any of their albums. Difford and Tilbrook are a great writing team and Jools Holland was the original keyboardist (think he left and came back a few times). If you want to check out some more of their stuff, then I'd recommend Take Me I'm Yours, Cool For Cats, Goodbye Girl, Pulling Mussels (From the Shell), Another Nail In My Heart, Labelled With Love, and - of course - Up the Junction (their finest hour in my humble opinion).

Not just vinyl, but pink too? Nice! I have their greatest hits album wink.gif Love pretty much every song on it...

Great band. "Tempted" was always my favourite.

Many years ago I hummed & haahed about going to see them live at the Bristol Victoria Rooms but decided against it in the end. Day after the concert, the local paper had a front page splash as Elton John had joined them on stage. Bugger is all I can say.

Love Squeeze here. smile.gif

I've never actually listened to an album of theirs (probably should) but I love practically all of their big hits.

Yeah, lucky escape! biggrin.gif

"Up The Junction" is a beautifully crafted, sad little song that creates a vivid picture of a life in just three minutes. upset.gif
"Cool For Cats" I find SEXY. Love the vocal and lyrics. wankin.gif
