I didn't read the whole thing but it sounds rather positive. I don't know why you're shocked.

Because it's in the Daily Mail.

If Leveson has taught us anything so far its that the Daily Mail will print anything if they think there's even the slightest chance of making money from it (i.e. anything "controversial", especially to their core readership).
