Back in July 2010 we marked out Lloyd Eyre-Morgan as a filmmaker to watch. It’s always nice to be proven right: his first feature film, Dream On, has been picked up by TLA for release next year. This 80s set gay drama is based on a self-penned stage play and sees two gay teens (one from London; the other from the North-West of England) meet at a welsh campsite and plan their escape together.
That Gay Movie.comDreamOn had been due for release this spring but Lloyd tells me it's been put back to summer as it's currently being re-mastered in America.
Meanwhile filming gets under way on his 2nd feature in a couple of weeks.
Called Celluloid, it stars Shameless's Jody Latham.
