How did the last series end?

Rich and Grace were going to get married but changed their minds at the last minute.
Everyone buried their hatches and peace was restored.

Yeah, I wouldn't say any of them were completely ugly but all of them had good points and bad points, whereas this guy doesn't appear to have any drawbacks.

Oh and btw the "fit mate" will be returning for series 6 as well.

I know he cut it, but if he's still metal, he'd grow it back out. He is cuter with the shorter cut, but it's so not-metal.

Wasn't the whole point of his storyline that he "saw the light" and realised how silly it was to look a certain way just to make a point about the sort of music he likes (tied in with the music making him go temporarily deaf)?

He kept the look after that episode until just before the wedding, no? And I read that episode as being more about opening up to others and expanding horizons, not ditching what you already are.

Hmm, I may have gotten lost amongst all the angst but I certainly got the impression that he'd "turned over a new leaf".

I only watched the episode where he meets that girl. The rest I gathered from captures posted here. So I may be wrong. But with her giving the horns at the end of the episode, I thought they had both influenced each other.

Given that the second season with this generation only plays a couple of month later his hair should still be mostly the same though.
Maybe they make it a topic on the show or something?

The film also looks like it'll never happen.

I actually think these are a bunch of interesting characters individually, they just don't seem to work as a whole. Plus the storylines were pretty shit which didn't help.

Hopefully this series will improve things.

Morocco is a strange choice of holiday destination for a group of guys that age. Magaluf would have made more sense..

I've always watched Skins, mainly as it's set in Briz and some friends work on it. But I do like it. Each set of friends has a different feel.

It looks okay I suppose, but it all looks a bit over the top as well, what with Alo being in prison and the car flipping over.

They should just keep things grounded and make it about the characters.

See thats where I totally disagree. The age group that "Skins" is about and appeals to don't need yet another tedious angsty, worthy, "real" drama. The show was always at its best, and stood out from the crowd, when it just focuses on pure entertainment and shows its characters living life and having fun (albeit often in quite an OTT way).

I don't think British tourists ending up in prison on holiday is that unrealistic anyway.

I think that's why series 2 will always be my favourite, especially the second half of it. I know it was mainly very grim, but it was pure emotion and had no tedious storylines relating to violence or gangs etc.

Morocoo is a much more realistic place for a group like that - a bit cooler and edgier than your usual morons and loads of people are going to Morocco for travels now.

I saw the first episode of the second series at the premiere and it's really good - back on form I reckon!! Rich's character is completely different (looks wise at least) and Mini is spectacular.

Just finished watching the first ep online.

I did enjoy it, some things still annoyed me, but it's the same things that always annoys me with this show. The completely over the top and unrealistic way they act for teenagers for a start. I've said it before how I hate it when these characters always seem to get caught up with violence gangs etc and the pilot is no different. I think the makers of the show must think it's a great way to provide some drama.

That what bothered me so much about this gen, they behave like absolute retards and nothing seems realistic or natural.

Apparently the new character when he comes into it is going to be gay. It seems a bit odd to me and like he's the token gay character of the series. I wonder if one of the other boys will be experimenting. Nick maybe?! But he was shagging Liv and Mini last year, meh.

Nick was so hot in the first episode, great arse and nice beefy bod.
His character is a bit of a dumb ass though and making him gay would be silly cause we already have Mini being a closeted lesbian and surely she'll hook up with Franki at some point too. They shouldn't overdo it.

I find Matt quite an interesting character, Franky was treating him like shit in that episode. How old is he supposed to be? He seems a bit misplaced hanging out with them.

I don't think any of them are closeted lesbians either, they won't do the same storyline two series' in a row.

Mini is definitely a lesbot, that is obvious. She's constantly puppy-eyeing Franky and Liv said in the last season she's done some girl on girl stuff in the past.
Matt is just so pretentious. This whole mysterious quiet stuff is annoying. Yes Franky was a bitch but what a douche is he to just take it? He wasn't so shy to just take what he wants in the last season.
I don't know how old he exactly is but I always though he was way older than Nick but they do the same Level at School. Maybe he is slow?
He looks better with his slightly longer curly hair, I give him that.

I hoped they'd spend much more time in Morocco than they did. Thought it'd have made the series much more different, especially if it is such a long one.

Feel like they're going a bit too series 1/2 with Grace, or they will do. Should be a good series anyway.

The acting has improved. Frankie is gorgeous, As was that Luke. In totally different ways though.

I think I saw Rich snuggling up behind Grace (or perhaps something naughtier was going on). All of those flashy fast edits make it incomprehensible. But definitely make me wish I could see the series in full.

Mini looks pretty depressed in most of the trailer so I'm gonna guess it's her baby.

Maybe her abortion will be the "death " of this season :/
