It was pretty sad how he got unceremoniously dumped, but given the sheer potential (of Jarryd Sexy-Pants Hayne, among others) against how they performed last year -- something just wasn't quite working.

Maybe Kearney will be a better fit for that particular group of players? Hope so.

The game against the Warriors was pretty good. They defended well and there was great attack, Jarryd "My Arse Should Be A National Monument" Hayne even scored. And poor little Morts picked a fight with a hulking Warrior (which wasted about 20 valuable seconds right towards the end of the game, which none of the Warriors seemed to notice. Sneaky Morts ).
