it was discussed on here way back when it was announced at E3. looks promising, as long as they don't kill it with the price....

Search the Microsoft E3 thread for discussion.

Personally, I do not think it will offer much tbh. I doubt it will be the main input for the 360. Will just be used to skip through menus and all the extra shite that MS want to whack on the dash these days.

To sum up: it's a motion sensing camera that tracks your body movements.

I must add: This tech isn't that new or mind blowing tbh. Sony have had eyetoy based games for ages. Even the DSi camera can track motions.

Just a tiny bit more advanced than EyeToy, clearly.

That Milo thing is so peadish. Freaks me out.

It's fucking HILARIOUS how they bitched about how shit the idea of motion sensing for games was and are now bringing this out.
Fall of Reach
i hope it falls flat and costs M$ a mint. especially for pulling Rare off Kameo 2 to design games for the thing, such a complete waste of a good developer.

i sure as shit (obviously) don't want it.

it's just a ploy to further lower the 360's 'hardcore' status and cash in on what Nintendo have been peddling this generation... a mass appeal gimmick loved by people who don't and don't want to know better, that will more than likely be shelved by everyone who bought it after a month or two... just like most people did with their Wii's.

Considering the millions of sales that New Super Mario Bros Wii has gained, in just a few months, plus the fact that a casual title "Just Dance" is sitting atop the UK charts makes me think that, no, Wiis have not been "shelved".

the Wii thrives on its generic qualities. it's major titles are few and far between. imo the console is a failure in just about all aspects no matter how well it's half-assed titles sell..

and yes, i'm calling NSMBWii half-assed. hell even the creator did.

almost all of my friends have bought one... with only 3 left that still use it. and then that was only to play NSMBWii.

i used to be heavily pro Nintendo. still own a 64 and a GC.
