FAO: Resizing pictures Options

Hello there,
I'm sorry but I'm afraid I have to ask a question I think I already asked before.
The problem is , that the pic I would like to post (via tinypic) appears really big and that is bad since it's a scan ,so not the best quality anyway, but since it's so big it looks even worse. It's not that big on my PC and looks a lot sharper. I had that problem ages ago if my memory is correct, but can't remember what advice you guys gave me, since I don't post pics very often and the problem never occurred again.

You will have to resize the image.

There are several sites which do this for you online, such as http://www.resize2mail.com/

Another way is to download some free software which can do this as well. A suggestion would be Irfanview. It displays many different file types and offers a resize feature.

As a last resource you could use Windows' very own Paint. Open the image in Paint, click on Image > Stretch/Skew and fill in a percentage lower than 100 for both horizontal and vertical. (if it's still to large, you can repeat this step )
