Not pride, it represents no achievement on your part, so for you to take pride in it is daft. AdrienAsche's two words are certainly appropriate, and I would probably add respect.

Nice to see Saudi Arabia standing up for what its rulers believe. They have officially objected to the .gay domain on the grounds that "The creation of a gTLD string which promotes homosexuality will be offensive to these societies and cultures. We respectfully request that Icann refuse the application for this gTLD."

They have also objected to lots of other names such as .wine (could glamourise the consumption of alcohol), .tattoo (because the practice is contrary to religions such as islam and judiasm), .baby (might be used for pornographic reasons) and .sex (for the obvious).

I wonder what the internet might be like if various countries/religions/rulers where in charge?
