It might be impressive that they survived the line up changes but its still a total joke that there are no Sugababes left in Sugababes

Why? How is that relevant? If the band still produces decent music, who cares?
It's only ridiculous because people say it is so when in reality it doesn't matter one bit.
Besides Heidi is an original Sugababes. She was there when the band was reinvented and became the band it still is today.
A girl pop group instead of some indie garage band.
Sugababes today has nothing to do at all with what they were during their first album period and I mean music wise not the line up.

I love the new line up, but i disagree. It's like bringing Destiny's Child back with 3 new members. None of them are the founding members. Therefore, none of them are the originals.

Heidi was not a founding member of the band. She was a replacement for an original member. Therefore she is not an original sugababe.

As i say, this isn't a dig at them. Far from it. I love the babes. Excited for what they come back with, when they eventually come back.

Heidi isn't original but was there for ALL the success of the group, when they were really big it was Heidi not Siobhan there and Heidi was always my favourite even though I wasn't a major fan and I feel a lot of casual fans would pick Heidi as their favourite, I mean Mutya was so rough looking and Keisha never had a personality you could warm too.

BTW apparently the Pussycat Dolls are going to be relaunched with a new lineup so this happens in the music business.

They were unique and different when it was the original three. Once Heidi joined, they were good for a very short while but then their music went way too pop for me...too bubblegum. The current lineup with Amelle, Heidi and Jade is awful and the Sweet 7 album was just bubblegum dance pop. The Sugababes weren't originally like that...their music was different and unique. Obviously as the years go on their music has to change, but it's now changed to the point where there's nothing different or special about them. Also, I know a lot of people go on about loving Hedi's voice but I can't stand it...she's so breathy. I can't wait for the originals to come back...they were the best in my opinion.

When the name is abbreviated as MKS it's not too bad. Otherwise it's awful.

Not gonna lie, I can't really remember Sugababes in Siobhan's tenure, but I'm looking forward to hearing what they come up with.

Three singles in three years (one which ended up being a free download) for the current line up, with no intentions of releasing any music till 2013 doesn't have me convinced at all. I don't think they'll last much longer, regardless of how well MKS do.

Mutya might be ugly, but she was the voice and face of the group. After she left, the Sugababes went downhill.

What frustrates me is the shade on Heidi. People bum this line up so hard now but when Siobhan quit everyone was like 'who?' and until Keisha left Heidi was praised for 'saving' the band and was considered a 'true' Sugababe.

The original line up had ONE hit and one moderate hit thier album tanked (its sold 250k now but until thier second album regenerated interest it had sold 30k hence getting dropped by London). Mutya and Siobhan tanked as solo artists and Siobhan said as recently as 2009 "you don't forget your first bully andmine was Keisha".

'Sugababes' might not have much going right now but they all deserve to be in that band 'MKS'...well two of them quit because they hated it and the other was pushed out for upsetting more members - this whole thing is so contrived yet people have this blessed memory like they were a megaband.

A reunion that would be worth of the hyper would be the second line up which had all of thier biggest hits (save for 'About You Now') and is the most recognised group.

It does feel like a pissing contest 'lol look how classy we are compared to Sugababes' but they're naive if they ever think they're not going to be constantly referred to as Sugababes. If anything this is just going to elp the actual band 'Sugababes' when they make a comeback in a years time because everyone will want to compare them and knowthier view - from who they've been working with (MKS) I'm not expecting anything like 'One Touch' it sounds like it'll be dance.

I personally think quality is more important than quantity, sales figures don't necessarily equal success, Adele's album has sold about a billion copies and I don't see what the hype is, I don't like her voice, Tina Arena and new artist Ren Harvieu have excellent voices. I love Siobhan Donaghy's two albums, they are brilliant. I was hoping for Siobhan's 3rd album but I guess this is better than nothing.

The thing is that they are going to need to go for commercial success to begin with or they'll be dubbed a failure so they won't be making music like on their first album or either of Siobhan's albums, or not as the singles, it will be something more commercially viable because their chart position is the most important now for any of them or it could all be over.
