I'll only get one if my phat breaks or the PS4 doesn't have backwards compatibility. The thought of never being able to play PixelJunk Monsters again gives me the willies.

Perhaps it will have an external power supply brick. That's the only I can think might be different.

It is kind of tempting, I've thought about getting a second PS3 for a while now (mainly as a media player) but I think I'd better wait for the PS4 smile.gif

There's also the annoyance of cinavia so a different media player might be even better.

So, what exactly is the point of this new version? Other than being smaller and lighter, neither of which make any difference to me given that the 'old' one fits under my TV without falling through the floor, why would/should I want one?
