As was rumoured when the last firmware arrived referencing a "remove disc" option rather than "eject disc", a new PS3 is coming without the slot-loading BD drive. It's got a sliding lid by the looks of it. I've read the three sizes are 160GB, 320GB and 500GB.

This is probably the equivalent of the PStwo redesign for countries like Brazil, etc.

I actually meant to say, 'those vertical cd players from the 80s'

The full game downloads from PS+ can be 10-20GB, then you've got demos, you can save your own videos, music and photos to the HDD. You can also plug in PlayTV and use it as a Freeview recorder. The PS3 is so versatile! Unlike the Xbox. biggrin.gif

lol_2.gif Even though I do prefer the Xbox mostly, my heart is still with PlayStation. A PS2 was my first home console. Even though I did only keep it for a few days before taking it back to Argos as I was unimpressed. lol_2.gif

Interesting, I might have to upgade to this when it comes out.
