Chris is a 22yo lad who worked part time behind the bar at a pub near where I work in Altrincham.

He's been missing since attending the Stone Roses gig at Heaton Park in North Manchester last Friday evening.

I hope he's found safe and well soon but the longer it goes before he's found, the less likely there is to be a happy outcome.

It must be ghastly for his friends and family until they know what's happened. sad.gif

Yes I agree with that but as this is the first missing person appeal posted here, I was curious as to why. I was unaware of the national Facebook/Twitter/media campaign that has been mounted until just now.

My first thought was that he must be a member here as the appeal is there as soon as you open , , anyway hope he turns up safe and sound.

Good point.
I saw his dad and 2 mates on BBC breakfast this week though. But as you say, nowhere near as much as a missing girl gets.

Oh I don't know about that, sadly many people go missing (for a variety of reasons) on a fairly regular basis and the vast majority of them get absolutely no media attention at all. Considering Chris is an adult (there would of course be much more media involvement if he were a child) I think his friends and family have done a very good job at get his name and details into the public domain as much as they have.
