So with episode three we get a full force Walt the manipulator. The scene where he talks Jesse into dumping his girlfriend that plays out as something close to fatherly advice/concern was a pretty fantastic.
And whilst I do it every week I think I once again need to marvel at the development of the primary characters of the show. Particularly that when you consider that all this has taken place in about a year within the time line of the show. Walt, Jesse and Skylar in particular are almost unrecognisable from the people they were in the first season. Its really rather astonishing.
Also just a word on episode endings. Episode one and two arguably ended with implied rape (episode two in particular) whilst episode three ends with Walt not so subtly threatening to kill Jesse, Mike or both.

So let me get this straight, we get 8 episodes this year and the final 8 in 2013?
Correct.
