If they've got any sense, a major price drop.

IT neeeeds a price drop and some decent titles.

The titles they pushed last year, such as the handheld Resistance entry, got met with very very poor reviews.

I think a price drop is very much a given.
I doubt there is much to gain with the Vita though, it's just a device nobody needs or wants.
Sony's gotten really good to miss the consumers by two solar systems these days.

This conference is going to be quite enlightening. I haven't switched my PlayStation on for a good six months now and it used to be the apple of my eye. Haven't a clue what's in store for PS3 these days. Is Jack Tretton still the CEO of SCEA? I like watching him.

I stayed up whoo:)
The Sonys conference was better than Microsoft's i thought.

I guess the big announcement was the wonderbook which i have to say made me feel really awkward when watching them sittingdown using it.
Its impressive i'll give it that and they are definitely smart by releasing a harry potter "book" first, kids will love it.
But i can't help thinking "is it really needed"? Why can't you just pick up a real book, sit down and then read it. I also don't think it will catch on once they bring out different books non Harry potter related.

God of war and Last of us looked amazing, they are not really 'my types of game but im pretty sure i'll be buying them once they're released.

Beyond also looked interesting, I wasn't extremely impressed with the scene they showed but graphically and the little game play we saw i think it's looking decent.

I think that was about it wasn't it?
I know watching the co-op call outs in FarCry 3 made me cringe lol_2.gif I didn't care about the mobile phone or PSN+ and i'm kinda surprised there was no price reduction for the vita.

I can see the super smash bros rip off annoying a bunch of fanboys/girls as well biggrin.gif

Is there another conference to come, or did they in fact completely ignore the Vita and not announce anything for it?!

I still can't believe how much they've ignored the Vita, it's hilariously awkward.

meh they were both shit.

Nothing really worth watching live for, so glad I could skip the shit. I think that EA sports needs a separate event so I can ignore it lol_2.gif

That's the bookreader preloaded with all the Harry Potter novels????

I vaguely read something about that. Don't even know what it looks like. I'll admit I'm a sony fanboy, but it's waning. I've been looking at a Pocketbook Touch e-reader (tested as the best by Cumputerbild) and a Samsung or Motorola tablet. Sony tablets are somewhere in my peripheral vision but I'll look into this Wonderbook lol_2.gif
