I'd not heard of Music Magpie so I put two or three ones on to see what I'd get ..They are old admittedly but 30p each !!!
What about Gumtree or Ad Trader if you are selling them all together .

I sold a load on Music Magpie. I know 30p seems derisory, but to be honest, after you've taken eBay's fees off etc, you arent going to be getting much more selling it on there, plus the aggro and inconvenience. I also got 30p for CDs that frankly you couldnt give away, so it's swings and roundabouts. A few Music Magpie were offering up to £2 for, so i kept those back and put them on Amazon thinking i'd make more on there, but to date they've not sold.

Was going to say.... is there a market for such things any more?? I don't just mean chart/independent artists from the last 10 years or so. Even established bands/performers have released so much on iTunes, and officially/unofficially on YouTube, there hardly seems to be a reason to buy any music any more... unsure.gif

Though if I wanted to listen to something again, and again, I would buy it (online), of course. smile.gif

I don't know where you live but a yard sale might help you out.

Well.....in the local Poundland they have whole racks of CD albums. I always thought they were new as they are sealed in plastic wrapping etc, but reading the labels it seems they are "preowned" so i presume places like Music Magpie supply them. My mate buys a load each month but then he still has a "Music Centre!" (Ask your Grandma)

If you don't need the money particularly, why not save yourself the hassle of selling and just pass them to a charity shop? They'd welcome them. thumbsup.gif
