Only started recently as I wanted to follow the Racing Post.

But it made me follow a few more that I just picked at random.

Will have to sort out some unfollowing and replacements.

3 favourite?! I can't pick 3 favourites...

I tend to follow various people; singers, actors, the odd talkshow host (notably Conan O'Brien)... Although I refuse to follow "reality tv stars"

Oh! and of course, I follow you guys! bleh.gif

Most of my favourites consist of celebs who've tweeted me... One of my favourites, for cause it made me laugh was when Joe Mantegna tweeted that, we weren't to ask how he knew, but the answer to How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood was 7.

I tweeted him asking him if he was sure it wasn't 42. His response to me? "No, You must have been using the metric system"

Anton Hysen's great... he'll actually have a chat with you on twitter. With the football and dance training at the moment he's not quite so chatty, but...

I also keep getting caught out. A friend got a tweet from Tobias Mead, and asked if I was jealous. I replied saying that I wasn't cause I keep telling @tobiasmead that he's hot and he never notices. I then proceeded to get a tweet from Tobias saying that he doesn't mean to ignore people, but that he appreciates it and that he was sending his love back at me.

lol_2.gif

I tweet WAY too much... paperbag1.gif

You do tweet far too much DKS.

But yeah I guess for me it's Anton Hysen since he actually replies to me so we can have some fun. lol_2.gif

I follow over 1,000 accounts on there, some famous, others not. To pick three off the top of my head would be impossible.

Wow hard one. Alan Carr is always a laugh. Caitlin Moran, my boy Lincoln Lewis (we send each other Family Guy clips - I'm well in there!) Dr Christian is quite hilarious as well.

I'm quite ruthless these days. I unfollow anyone that mentions a product or a business or anyone that sees Twitter as work or that use it as a publicity tool. Pretty easy to spot. No second chances. I also don't follow companies or faceless profiles. That's not what Twitter is about for me. Oh and anyone that puts social media in their bio gets an immediate block!

I'm a big tweeter.

I chat regularly with Claudia Winkleman about films.

I also talk on an almost daily basis with Mitch Marion who was on the lastest series of Playing it Straight for a single episode.
He is really nice and we have lots in common.

I follow 691 people (at time of posting) and to be honest, don't really understand why you wouldn't follow loads of people. The whole point to twitter for me is that it is a general flow of noise and that you pick interest out of that. If you only followed a few people then you go away for a bit and look back and theres only a couple of tweets. By following loads, there's always something new to read. You don't read *every tweet*; you refresh and there's maybe the last half hour's worth? The point is what's happening right now. Of course, for those you actually want to read everything, that's what lists are for. It allows you to pull them out of the noise.

I follow loads of different sorts of people: e.g. musicians/bands I like, celebrities, political people (of all colours), some FMF-ers, family, friends, etc. What I do like is the way you find people through people. What can then end up happening is you follow a whole little network of people so it's like a real-life soap opera or something. For example, I started on twitter because they were always going on about it on Radio 1 so I followed loads of the DJs, but then what happened was I ended up following a load of the behind-the-scenes people so it's like a whole real-life thing going on.

To pick 3, I couldn't possibly. It's the whole blend of people I follow which make twitter enjoyable for me.

Saying that, Tweets should have variety.

There is nothing worse than someone who only constantly tweets about one subject.

It'd be really bad if The Queen did that, as she has so many million to choose from.

Patton Oswalt (hilarious, and uses Twitter like it's his first language), Rick Wakeman (Yes! keyboardist--extremely funny), and Roger Ebert, who actually manages to cover a LOT of my interests. Plus he's always fresh.

I also just recently followed Johnny Weir's husband because he was posting beach photos of Johnny. Not disappointing.

It should be noted I'm also shallow and will follow you if you're hot.

By and large I tend to follow comedians and actors, sometimes singers too. Anyone I know in "real life" usually gets followed but they rarely say anything!

Favourite & regular tweeters at the moment are Caitlin Moran, Sarah millican and Tom Hiddleston
