I saw this earlier, it wasn't particularly bad, but it wasn't very good either. The BBC have at least not gone the whole po-faced hog like they did with Fame Academy; I don't think the audience for this sort of show are looking for 100% authenticity and a show that takes itself desperately seriously. But then they've kept up some awful talent-show habits like the sob-story, the braying family held off-screen; and, worst of all, it has Reggie Yates.
