I did that ages ago when I had my last mini wobble and left FMF. But really none of us even play together...

New Mass Effect 3 DLC announced: Rebellion Pack on 29 May:

QUOTE

Reinforcements are being deployed to all N7 forces, bringing out some heavy hitters thanks to the new Mass Effect 3 Rebellion DLC Pack! Arriving on Xbox Live, the PlayStation Network and PC on Tuesday, May 29 (Wednesday, May 30 on the PSN in Europe), the Mass Effect 3 Rebellion Pack will be bringing you more gear, more weapons, more maps, and more kits, available at no additional cost for anyone who redeemed an Online Pass for Mass Effect 3 on PC, PS3 or Xbox 360.

The Rebellion Multiplayer Expansion opens two new fronts against the Reapers: Firebase Jade’s jungle reservoir and Firebase Goddess on Thessia. In-game reinforcement packs now include three new weapons (Reegar Carbine, Krysae Sniper Rifle, Cerberus Harrier) as well as equipment, consumables, and six new characters from species that have lost lives or whole planets to the Reapers: Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator, Vorcha Soldier and Sentinel, Ex-Cerberus Adept and Vanguard. The battle continues!

It's free again. I'm in save-up-your-money mode from now until release day. Can't wait to see what the Vorcha can do.

Free? Is it actually or is it another case of wasting ages earning in-game money to purchase packs which may or may not unlock them? For two weeks I played after downloading the last dlc, and getting the premium packs unlocked none of the new characters for me. Utter waste of my time.

It's the same as before. The DLC just unlocks the new equipment and you buy the packs to obtain them. That's probably what's kept me going this long - trying to get all the weaponry. And I'm still 2 guns short after 3 months of continuous play.

WELL! A month or so after it was cool, I finally finish the trilogy (That's what I get for having a job). I can't say I share the general rage about the ending.

I mean the whole pick a colour thing is perhaps a bit rubbish given the range of things to get to that point but the colours available depend on your galactic readiness and there is at least some minor variation around those depending on other factors. How realistically could it end and take into account all the things you have done up until then?

The Normandy bit was irrelevant more than anything else.

More generally, isn't the whole point of the game(s) the futility, that you're doing everything you can to try to stop the inevitable and that the best outcome for the galaxy (stopping/destroying the Reapers) may only be the least worst and that whatever happens history will only serve to repeat itself? Isn't that theme then also then underscored by the bit post-credits? I almost feel the most appropriate ending is one in which the Reapers win, everyone is harvested and whilst the Crucible is a bit closer to being workable, it's still not there, just like the cycle before and the cycle before that?

Just me then... tumbleweed.gif

Not having rage is unusual on a general basis for me so in this case it's quite surprising and therefore really mustn't be that bad.

I just played through the control reaper ending again and watched the synthesis ending online. I'm indifferent to the endings still but they did show the reapers repairing the mass effect relays. I wonder what happens in the ending where they are destroyed.

I just watched them all on the youtube. Their ok, definitely better than what we where originally given and it still amazes me that Bioware and co thought they where exceptable endings.

Now i know all the endings are a little different i would probably choose control over destroy like i originally picked (i can't remember my reasons at the time for picking that).
I guess most peoples assumptions that the whole thing was a test by the reapers, with destroy being the paragon choice and control being the renegade where incorrect.

I also like the little "fuck you" bioware included for the people not wanting to choose any of the three outcomes
