Very good Mania.
I'm a bit annoyed about Brodus Clay, MGK and Flo Rida getting so much time that could have gone to other matches, say the 18 second World title match!
Was very happy to see Kane beat Orton.
Bit of a shame to see Cody lose, but if they've taken the IC title from him to give him a push at the World Title I won't mind.
The 3 main events actually delivered for once.
HIAC was great. The story they told was brilliant and shows why the 3 are some of the best ever. I'd still say the Taker/Michaels Cell of 97 was better but it was great all the same. Say what you want about Taker but for the past 5 years (since WM 23 in 2007) he's put on show stealing matches at Wrestlemania.

Surprised with all the love for Wrestlemania that I've seen on the internet today - me and my mates were all pretty underwhelmed by the whole thing. The set was dull, there were way too many baffling booking decisions (why does Big Show need the IC title? Why did Kane need a win? Who thought it'd be a good idea to kill Daniel Bryan as fast as that? Why did the man who isn't even in the company full-time beat their single true main eventer?), none of the matches were really that good apart from maybe the last half of Jericho/Punk, and there were no surprises at all.
Even the HIAC match was bad - the cell wasn't used, there was way too much "emotional" talking throughout which came across as incredibly corny, it ended pretty much exactly the same way as the HHH/Nash match the other month (sledgehammer followed by a finisher), and that bit at the end where they all walked up the aisle hand in hand and had a big cuddle at the top of the ramp was just absurd. Really really horrible stuff.
And everyone shitting all over Brodus Clay - that was the one bit that raised a smile out of everyone in my house last night! It's a shame the dancing women weren't real pensioners though. That would've been AWESOME.

Lesnar v Cena is gonna be interesting. Can I just ask those who know more about wwe than me, is the hate for Cena out of bordem or what? he is so fit,I couldwatch him all day and looking forward to this rivalry.
On another, can't believe how well Cody has turned out. Gorgeous.
And, one more thing, Jonny Curtis is being exploited beautifully in NXT. Love him in he jeans and black leahter jacket. Did anyone see him stretched out on the fence when he went down into the basment to meet th kidnappers??? (can't believe i just wrote that sentence)

Cena's hate is the same as Hulk Hogan was getting in the early to mid 90s. He was the same goody two shoes character for so many years and was just so constantly pushed down your throat you get sick of him. It's the character people are sick of, not the man himself.
Cena should have turned heel years ago but WWE value his merchandise sales too much to do that, even though turning him could have made him a monster heel and regenerated wrestling like Hogan did joining the nWo where the stars were literally household names instead of it treading in the dangerous water it is now where most of the veterans and legends are leaving and there's no one ready to step up and take their place so old fans aren't tuning in because they don't know or care for anyone coming up on the roster.

The above is true but only half the story. A big problem with Cena is his skills as a wrestler or lack of. He used to be a half decent in ring performer but the last few years he has got worse. He doesn't sell opponents offence or not well enough. He gets beat up in most matches and then all of a sudden he is 100% and winning the match.

Hot RAW this week, it reminded me of the late 80s (when I started 'enjoying' wrestling!) with sexy muscle jobbers being punished - ok, I know Alex Riley and CM Punk arnt jobbers (well Punk isnt anyway) but seeing -and hearing them get punished in the ring was so hot! I think this weeks RAW is a keeper, got to burn this onto disc to ...enjoy agin and again!
