Leaving aside the fact that there is absolutely no need to make yet another version of RE4 (WII Version is all you need really) the advertising campaign is so bad, so so bad.
It's the most cringy thing I've seen in a long time. disgust1.gif

I agree with your assessment of the ad :S Who exactly will that attract to RE4?

I loved RE4 - had the PS2 version and always wished I could have had another reason to get a Gamecube so I could have bought the best (technically speaking) version. Loved CV:X too; the true last great Resident Evil game before it went down the all-out-action route.

I'd love to get these in HD but as a trophy hunter (wink.gif) I was SO disappointed with the list for RE4 since it is such an extensive game with tonnes of added bonus features to be unlocked:

You really should try to get your hands on the Wii version it's the best, the controls work like a dream, like it was made for the console in the first place.

I agree on CV, the story is the best in the series.

I love Code Veronica, definately buying it. It's tied with Resident Evil 2 as my favourite in the series. Such a good storyline, two of the best villains of the series in Wesker and Alexia, two of the best heroes of the series in Chris and Claire. And one of my favourite gaming soundtracks ever! Only thing I liked about Darkside Chronicles was hearing the original composers re-do the soundtrack for Code Veronica...

It has been a very long time since I played number 4 so I guess I wouldn't mind playing it again.

And I never did get to play CV so at least that will be a unique experience for me.

But to be honest, none of this is going to happen anytime soon because there is just too much stuff coming out!

Yup, it seems the Capcom who milked Street Fighter 2 and more recently SF4 and Marvel Vs Capcom has crawled out of the woodwork to make a quick buck. Compare what the industry has been saying about this to what they said about GOW 1+2 when they were re-released. I'm definitely not buying this unless Capcom issue a significant patch.
