Iran calls on Saudi Arabia, UAE to leave Bahrain "immediately"

TEHRAN, March 19 (Xinhua) -- The National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iranian Parliament (Majlis) issued a statement in support of the Bahraini people and called on Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to leave Bahrain's soil immediately, the Satellite Press TV reported on Saturday.

"The oppressed people of Bahrain are a part of the Islamic world and the Islamic Republic of Iran feels obligated to support them," the statement was cited as saying on Saturday.

Libyans are oppressed and murdered by a totalitarian government, Bahrainis are oppressed and murdered by two totalitarian governments (Bahrain + Saudi).
Seeing as most people support military intervention in Libya by foreign powers, surely we should help the Iranians support the Bahrainis get rid of their dictatorship and the invading Saudi Army.

If you don't support the Bahraini people too, you are a hypocrit.

I know all the western governments are hypocrits and I guarantee none will call for help of the Bahraini people.

In my opinion, you should never intervene militarily.

Once again I agree with the OP. We should not intervene in Bahrain.

Mind you, I wish all success to the Saudis and the Bahraini monarchy in resisting the formation of what would simply be a puppet state for the bloodthirsty bastards who rule Iran.
