Seems that the issue of Nuclear damage and radiation has taken a turn for the worst with reports of exposed fuel rods and possible partial meltdown in Reactor 2 of Fukushima power plant following the loss of coolant water.

I'm lucky enough to live in Japan (nowhere near the affected areas) - its been a horrible few days, but hopefully the worst is now over. The country has taken a massive hit, but very few are better equipt to recover.
