To celebrate the launch of Steam on Mac, Valve is enabling everyone who owns a PC or Mac to play Portal for free until 24th May. If you've never played it before (or only on Xbox 360) then you ought to take it for a spin. It's a fantastic game.

I stand corrected on this. The game is FREE TO KEEP if you download it before 24th May. So even if you don't have a Steam account, create one for free, download Portal for free and get playing on your PC/Mac!

It most certainly is smile.gif I'm not a huge gamer, mostly 'cause - well I'm not smile.gif Plus netbooks + games usually don't go that well. But I downloaded it (never played it before), and I'm liking it.

Actually that reminds me - I've got some weird softly spoken robot things to go kill smile.gif

Even though I already have it on XBLA and on disc for PC I made a Steam account to get it on there for free just so I'll always be able to get hold of it! :3

So far, the computing masses have shaved five hours off the original launch time. PC users on Steam are scheduled to unlock the game at 10am BST on Tuesday. thumbsup.gif grindance.gif
