What are you guys currently wearing your thumbs down with?? I have Spirit Tracks on the go - I was playing it on the train on Tuesday.. which made me feel super cool!! I also have Red Faction Guerilla on the go also, but, this can get kinda frustrating actually when you get gang raped Oh and Dragon Age. I'm really enjoying all 3 for different reasons.. I also have faaaar too many games to complete. I buy too many

I'm playing Modern Warfare 2 still! It's been a long time since I found a game I can't wait to play(on the PC or PS3), so any suggestions would be good Although, I recently completed Assassins Creed II, enjoyed it but then again, its not eaxctly a difficult game, doesn't keep my brain entertained. Red Faction any good? Havn't heard much of it!! Mike

I find Red Faction really quite fun. Blowing stuff up and doing raids - both very cool, as is the driving and the setting of Mars but the combat could have been tweaked slightly; it isn't perfect and could've done with a lock on or just slightly better aiming. It can get slightly frustrating as I said. Particular annoyances: if you are trying to destroy a convoy of trucks, say, and you are doing well, but then have to take on 10+ guards on your own and then get run over by some civilian cunt in a little car thus sent flying, losing your bearings and consequently dying. The irony here is i'm trying to liberate the said civilian The explosions and building damage/debris effects are fantastic and it's open world, so, you can take the missions and actions in any order you want. I'm sure it's going to get better as it progresses though and as I become more skilled at it and the character becomes pimped. The thing is, I wouldn't pay full price for it, I'm not very far into the game yet, but, i'm glad I got it for £16.99 in the sales. This post has been edited by mikes: Jan 15 2010, 17:21

I have a bad habbit of alternating about 5 games at a time, which means new games don't get played for ages after i buy them... Final Fantasy IX is one I kept playing, then stopping, and then picking up where I left off from. that said, i do that with any FF game... which i also alternate... errm... I've started Mirror's Edge (again)... I love it. Started Gold Axe, but still at the very beginning. Also, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune; I won't started Among Thieves until i've finished the first one... Love them all though.

Me too. I'm at a point where I'm trying to get some side quests done because I think I might be about to not get another chance. The rabbits frustrate me.

Despite the fact that I have lots of unplayed Wii games and just got ToS2 for Christmas (which I really wanted) I started playing Paper Mario on Game Cube (another Game that has been unplayed for so long) and I can't stop. I love it! I loved the first part (which it just so happens I only played for the first time about a year ago, I am slow like this with games) and this one is even better cause they are very similar but with a few thoughtful changes. I haven't been captured likes this by a game since Okami. Next to that I'm playing FFX, its kinda a Project I have going on with my flatmate so we only play it together but since Uni keeps us so busy its a bit on hold at the moment. I was actually playing Crisis Day of Desaster and Zelda Links Awakening (yes also for the first time)...they have to wait now for me to finish PM.

I'm horrendous with completing games. I just don't have the time! Glancing down my list of titles I have approximately 35 games left to complete. Everything from Assassins Creed 2, Borderlands, Dragon Age, Bayonetta, Modern Warfare 2, all the way back to the likes of BioShock, Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey, Oblivion...
I'm desperately trying to complete the old ones before the sequels come out! (Mass Effect and Bioshock, I'm looking at you!)
However, I'm also having an achievement battle with my brother. He's beating me by a mere 100G. Gah. Too much to do, so little time.
Having said that, I'm currently absoutely enraptured by Bayonetta, with the occasional side helpings of Modern Warfare 2, Assassins Creed 2 and Tekken 6. What a feast.

Football Manager 2010. I use a NetTop computer, so obviously games like Crysis are an absolute no-no, but I likes my Football sims, and Football Manager 2010 fits the bill perfectly. I've only been playing it for about 20 hours, but it looks like my beloved Aston Villa are gonna get through to the knockout stages of the Europa Cut (We beat Benfica 5-1 last night), which I'm really happy about, given that I had a £1.75m transfer budget, and not only haven't I brought anyone, but I sold one of the best player, James Milner (got £12.25m for him).

I was laughing so much when I found the Rabbit place I'm still pretty early on in the game (mostly due to the playage of other things I've just finished the Blizzard temple) but i'm going to play more today.

QUOTE(John84 @ Jan 20 2010, 22:51) So sad, but I'm dead chuffed that today I finally beat Emerald & Ruby weapon on FF7, which I'm replaying for the nth time. Once you've got all the tools, they're surprisingly easy, just takes a little while to sit through the bloody Knights of the Round animation!
Final Attack linked with Phoenix, counter with mimic and W-Summon KotR. All mastered. I sat for a long time.

I barely get to go on the PS though. = /. Never played World of Warcraft, been told I'd like it... PRE-ORDERED FINAL FANTASY XIII TODAY.
