QUOTE(casperfan @ Aug 23 2009, 16:16) Wish i knew more other than the blog has been locked out-along with loads more and more to come i feel! Have challenged it but judging from other bloggers experience i don't hold out much hope so it seems it may be gone for good!!!
I dare to say some puritan zealot(s) is/are causing this. With all the blogs out there, how are some targeted? I could be wrong, but I think what is happening, is someone is going to websites, such as this one, and finding links to blogs, then flagging them. For example, 'perhaps' (from Argentina) had a nude male celeb blog, but left it idle for about a year. Within the last month he started posting again and of course all the nude male celeb sites were noting it. Suddenly, now, his blog was also 'shut down'. I don't think google is specifically targeting the blogs, it is a group that is flooding google with complaints (IMHO). If Casperfan, and others were able to do a login into their blogs, I think that would alleviate or slow down the problems. Not sure if that is an option, but if it is, I would recommend to anyone who has a 'nudity' related blog to do this. The disclaimer at the beginning apparently was not enough. In the U.S. we have a lot of right-wing nuts, and those, I believe, are the ones targeting the internet. Praise the lord, pass the porn!

What I have been able to find out/surmise, google allows nudity on the blogs, and those blogs have to be annotated as adult (thus the disclaimer at the beginning). Google does not monitor blogs, but will shut down (investigate) blogs after numerous complaints. Now, either they suddenly have an over zealous employee, or some group is targeting these blogs.
As I stated earlier, 'perhaps' blog had just started up again, therefore, it was 'publicized' around the net. Casperfan is a popular blog. I think, whatever group is doing this, is frequenting sites, discovering the blogs and then passing it on to flag them. It has to be that, otherwise less known (advertised) sites wouldn't be still available. I hesitate to mention another site, just in case someone reads this and it gets flagged too, but the individual use to post here and his site is still available -- most of you might remember him, the initials are "BWX". Once it get's promoted, it will probably be gone too.
I think once a site is advertised, it becomes a target. I may be jumping to conclusions, but I don't think so. I would suspect that those, like Casperfan and Perhaps, could start a new blog under a different name, with the same content, and as long as they didn't advertise the site, it would last. But in this day, we all have a tendancy to pass along favorite sites, so, the word would get out, and they would be flagged again.
I think there is a purification group on the net (ooooohh l love conspiracies), trying to eliminate adult and possibly gay related websites (not sure if it is just gay, or all). It doesn't have to be a large group. For example, they are going to suspend a site, if, lets say an abnormal amount of people flag a site simultaneously (it might only take 20 simultaneous flaggings to alert, for example, google - who therefore suspend the site until they investigate - if they really investigate).
I thought it might be some puritan group from here in the U.S., and it still could be, but Casperfan is UK based and Perhaps is Argentina based, I'm not sure if that is significant or not.
