Only with some enemies (and not always the big bosses). I don't even remember that ogre, so I must not have had any problems with him (wait till you get to the Broodmother or Gaxgang... )

Only standard advice, changing tactics might do the trick. What character class are you playing ???

I am an elf, fighting with a sword and shield. I tend to concentrate on him and forget about any other party members, I just let them do their own thing. I wish they'd auto-heal and such.

If they've got tactics slots you can tell them to do auto-heal (I tend not to use them too much either though). You'll soon meet a mage who can group-heal thumbsup.gif

Ah - this is one aspect I have not really looked into, the tactics things. It seemed too much like writing program code!

I haven't really looked but it's relatively straightforward smile.gif

If you/ally are under melee/ranged attack, do .....
If health under 50 %, do Heal

etc...

In the mean time, I've now also copped off with Leliana :angel

as i said before my attention span is rubbish so i only play it once a week nows!

my character is a woman, i couldnt resist alistair but hes hating me atm because i keep asking him to my tent and he keeps sayin no sad.gif perhaps further into the game he'll be abit more willing

BTW, I hate it when the game overrules my plans. If I tell my party members to stay put, and then during certain scenes, the game decides they should be there too and moves them...

I've given up on it for now and sent it back to the rental shop. I'm hoping Steam have a New Year's sale and drop the prices as I really want that deluxe edition with the stone golem thing and then I'll play again (as a woman, heheh) on PC. I think it will be better with the PC's UI.

You should get the standalone character creator from bioware. You can develop your character in advance and upload it to their servers (I believe the PC version can then actually use it contrary to the PS3 version sad.gif ) It will also get you a free 'lucky ring' to be used in the game thumbsup.gif )

I wish they had some point where the enemies respawned as I want to level up a bit more before I begin what is the start of the end upset.gif The stone golem is OK, didn't use him as a character much, only for his personal quest

Well, I created a female mage ready to get Alistair in the sack but it has a wobbly and times out when trying to upload to the Bioware servers. Luckily, it is saved on the HDD ready to play though.

Oh, I think that's because I was using an EA account login and it needed some more info on the Bioware site.

Yes, that seemed to fix it. I had to run through some pages on the Bioware site, access it from inside the character creator and then choose upload. My wench is now stored.

It does on some games, can't recall if DA:O is one of them. Press the PS button to get the XMB up and go to the Photo column. It might say "Take screen capture".
