I didn't realise the smallest little thing you say can turn against ya and sometimes you can't even backtrack! this is the 2nd time I wanted a different outcome, but i went with it anyways!

I would save the game after ever 5 minutes in case something happened which i didn't want to.

I think I'm the only person i know who appointed the other guy as king. He may have been a douche but he knew what he was doing. He also wanted to stop the casteless living in that slum

I actually did his side missions, thought i wanted him, but in the end went with harrowmant! dunno why lol

If you play the dwarven noble origin you know why you made the right decision, if the fact that he went mental in the assembly and tried to kill you and Harrowmant wasn't indicator enough.

If Bhelen becomes king, he rules as a reformist and works to strengthen Orzammar's connection with the surface world. He also offers casteless greater rights and privileges in exchange for military service against the darkspawn. This policy allows Orzammar to reclaim lost territory, but angers the warrior and noble castes. After several attempts on his life, Bhelen dissolves the Assembly and rules alone. Opinion is divided as to whether he should be remembered as a tyrant or a progressive ruler.

Its better than the other i think.
I was with Harrowmont right till the end until i found a letter in Bhelens bedroom which informed me about a castless he was in love with but died, so he wanted to get rid of dust town and give them more rights. This pretty much swayed me....oh and the fact i was constantly getting told that Harrowmont was a push over.

If i had originally played the dwarf noble origin story then i think i would have stuck with Harrowmont for revenge.

That does sound amazing but still he killed his brothers, I can't forgive that.
It's interesting though, one of the many examples in that game that nothing is just black and white.
Food for thought.
If you play the dwarf commoner origin you learn that it is actually the wardens sister Rica he is humping.

I was on my way to free Anora, stopped in a battle where we were confronted by another Crow and Zeveran turned on us! Killed the bitch though!! Was quite shocked lol

That only happens when you're not nice enough to him.
Do you not talk to your party enough and hand out gifts?

I've spoken to him LOADS!!! he's always been on my party as he rarely died in battle! but saying that he didn't get much gifts off me as the others.....OMG this game is actually quickly becoming the most interesting and intriguing game i've ever played!!!! UNREAL!!!!

As we are on gifts...some obv cut to scenes as i have seen, but does each gift belong to a certain member?? I'm confused now...again lol

Glad you're enjoying the game.

Most gifts are designed for a specific member yes.
If you talk to the party you learn what they like (it is then mentioned in their file) like Zevran likes shiny metal, Oghren booze and Sten likes paintings. If you give the presents to the right person you get the full amount of approval points (usual 10 as opposed to all the other member giving you just 5), the gifts that start a cut scene are special gifts and can only be given to the right person, the others will refuse it. I think every party member has at least one of those gift. (e.g. Stens Sword, Morrigans Grimoire...)
There are a few universal gifts that can be given to anyone without a difference in approval points, those are the ones you can find multiple times (I think wine is one of them) but they don't raise the bar much.

Where you on good terms with Zevran? It's not enough to just talk to them, if you wanna be friends with them you have to give answers and make decisions when they are in the party you think they approve of.
Like Morrigan and Zevran are heartless bitches, they approve of selfish and cut throat behaviour, if you show mercy or go out of your way to help people they won't like it as opposed to Alistair who is pleased by such boy scout acts.
Having the right member for the right mission in the party makes a world of difference.

Your game seems like the complete opposite to how mine went

Did you guys get captured trying to free Anora...I am on my own and it is IMPOSSIBLE to fight off the soldiers on my own, soooo frustrating

It's not impossible but very hard but if you wouldn't get captured the whole bit in ford Draconis wouldn't happen and you would miss a bit of story and the chance to gain more experience points so just go with it.
Besides if you have Alistair in your party you both wake up naked in a cage/dungeon.
Who wouldn't want that.
