Well, well, well. A turnup for the books. GameSpot reckons the PS3 version is the better of the consoles but neither are a patch on the PC version. lol_2.gif

just ordered it on amazon for my ps3, bought it based on amazons top 10 so hopefully will be good and ive not wasted money at xmas.

lol_2.gif Well 2010 is a year of RPGs. Mass Effect 2 is first off the blocks, then White Knight Chronicles, then Final Fantasy XIII and then The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf takes up to about Easter.

I have to say 2010 looks to be THE best year yet of the 360/PS3. I really cannot wait.

recieved it tues and been playing it ever since, really enjoyin it but cant play no more out of sheer tiredness and work gets int he way.

just downloaded an add on thing which is free!! pleasantly surprised about that smile.gif

I got the Golem and an armor for free as well smile.gif

Really annoyed though after I discovered the special edition has items that are unavailable for buyers of the normal version. There are also mods for the PC version, but not for the PS3 I think sad.gif

lol yeah, zevran definatley but definatley no for alistair unless you have the pc version and glitch it! not really flirted with any other characters yet try shale lol_2.gif

It's different but I like it. Even though I'm pretty addicted to this game at the moment (and Assassin's Creed 2 before that) I'm guessing that is because it's still new.

Just like I bought a PSP years ago because it enabled me to go online using wifi without having to log around a laptop, I also very much like that the PS3 plays media files (no longer having to use rewritable DVDs to watch something, instead it's simply copied to USB stick) plus it plays Blurays, so I can buy Blurays without having to buy a separate Bluray player.

I also like the trophy system, a way to keep track of what you've been doing, without having to remember it all wink.gif and now that they're posted automatically to facebook (probably to the annoyance of my facebook friends) it's even easier.

Hmm, I've got it now on rental. Not sure what to make of it. As Finnbar says, there is a LOT of talking. The graphics/textures look washed out and so far the story is completely uninteresting. I'm confused by it. How long does it take to get going? lol_2.gif

about 4hrs into it it started to settle down for me, but i agree sooooo much talking, i dont know whats happening in the story because i just skip past all the conversations
